Volkswagen Mega-mate
Commissioned by BRC Imagination for Volkswagen, Mega-mate
is probably the world’s largest interactive touchscreen
specially designed and manufactured by Interactive Technologies.
With a huge touch-active surface of 3 metres by 1 metre,
Mega-mate is a bespoke Rear Projection Interactive Touchscreen,
featuring today in Volkswagen’s corporate identity centre
in Dresden, Germany. |

Volkswagen are using Mega-mate as an interactive presentation
tool enabling them to show the Volkswagen fleet to visitors
to their manufacturing facility. By simply touching the screen,
visitors can customise their own vehicle. They can select any
options they like - adding and removing accessories, changing
the colour of the car, and viewing themselves beside the car
against a backdrop of their choice.
Mega-mate is the ideal promotional tool for Volkswagen,
enabling them to lead the way in interactive communication.
It has proved it catches and retains visitors’ attention and
encourages them to buy at the same time!
